All appointments are 5-year terms expiring 11/30. This commission consists of 5 members appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Commission.

Authority: "To purchase, acquire, construct, maintain, operate, improve, extend and repair housing facilities; to eliminate housing conditions which are detrimental to the public peace, health, safety, morals or welfare; to issue notes and revenue bonds; to regulate the issuance, sale, retirement and refunding of such notes and bonds; to regulate the rentals of such projects and the use of the revenues of the projects; to prescribe the manner of selecting tenants for such projects, etc. etc." Taken from P.A. Commission was formed by adoption of Ordinance No. 105 on October 3, 1966 pursuant to P.A. 18 of the Extra Session of 1933, as amended.

On October 2, 1995, the City Commission waived the residency requirement to allow not more than one member to reside outside the City.

Meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 8:00 am - Orchard View or Riverview
